Knowledge Transfer Partnerships
Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) are a successful method of enabling companies to obtain knowledge, technology or skills which are of strategic competitive importance to their business, by working closely in partnership with further/higher education institutions or research organisations. The company project is undertaken by an individual with appropriate research expertise who is recruited and funded to work in the company on a shared cost basis. The University of Sussex has excellent experience of KTPs and can offer advice on such partnership arrangements.
