In addition to our general University open days, we also offer pre-application information sessions (October to December) for anyone considering becoming a mature undergraduate student at Sussex.
The sessions offer an insight into the rewards and challenges of returning to education with an overview of the support facilities available for mature students, information about welfare and benefits, and guidance on completing your UCAS application (including the personal statement).
We will also take you on a guided campus tour, showing you the main common buildings and facilities, including the Library and the Students' Union.
Outside of the two main open days, we are not able to provide visitors with an opportunity to speak individually with academic tutors, however we can advise you on the best ways to get your detailed course questions answered via our website, by email or phone. The session and tour combined will last approximately 2¾ hours (10am - 12.45pm) and refreshments are provided.
