Covid-19 Support Fund
Following the success of our Emergency Hardship Appeal, last month Sussex established a Covid-19 Support Fund. In less than two weeks, more than 500 alumni, staff and friends of the University donated in excess of £160,000 to support students in hardship or experiencing poor mental health and wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since the pandemic broke out, nearly £380k has been directed to support students in financial hardship and those suffering from poor mental health, thanks to generous donations from our alumni, staff and friends.
