Staff briefing pack - August 2017
In August 2017, strategy development was still under way.
Our staff briefing for that month announced the four dimensions of the new strategic framework: education, research, engagement, and sustainable operations.
In addition, discussions had identified issues that needed to be addressed. We reported that a deliberate decision had been taken to fix some of the fundamental services and processes first and to take more time to create the new strategic framework.
Looking ahead, we said that in the coming months we would be looking at how to get there. The leadership team would be developing thinking. After discussions with our Council and Senate, we would then go back out to staff and students to share the vision and get input.
