New wellbeing hub provides range of support for colleagues

A new staff wellbeing hub has been launched to provide colleagues with the resources to help them look after their own physical and mental wellbeing, and that of others.

In these challenging times, our mental health – while always important – is likely to be of particular significance to us now,

To support staff, the new online wellbeing hub will offer a range of self-directed resources which staff can access at a time and place that suits them. This will support our patterns of flexible working and other initiatives which we are developing.

This also follows the appeal for volunteers to join a Mental Health Staff Forum, which will shape the development of that provision.

Sharon Neal, Assistant Director of Human Resources for OD, Culture and Inclusion, says: “We are really pleased to be introducing these two initiatives to support colleagues in these really challenging times.

“We’ve listened to what staff are telling us they need and have tried to tailor our provision to meet that demand.

“The wellbeing hub brings together a lot of useful resources which we hope colleagues will find useful. As well as physical and mental health resources, there is a section on financial wellbeing, which is something people have a lot of concerns about now.”

To ensure managers are able to support their direct reports, there is also a section on how we can ensure a duty of care to support the wellbeing of others.

If you are interested in joining the Forum, then please email or, if you have any questions about the Forum, please email Sharon Neal on
