SPRU - Science Policy Research Unit

Keith Pavitt Library and Resource Centre

SPRU’s Keith Pavitt Library – currently undergoing redevelopment as a key element of the SPRU History Project, part of the unit’s 50th anniversary celebrations -  holds a number of specialist resources for policy research in science, technology and innovation, including SPRU PhD theses, MA dissertations, news and annual reports, as well as classic SPRU books and latest publications.

The collection houses material on the economics of technological change, technology and innovation management, science and technology policies, research evaluation, policies for growth, employment and technology, chemical, biological and nuclear arms control, and energy and environment issues.

Exciting plans for the Library’s redevelopment include digitising a selection of the archive, as well as the implementation of interactive features via SPRU’s website.

Access to the Keith Pavitt Library is available on request to postgraduate students in the School of Business, Management and Economics. Access may be extended, again on request, to other users at the University.
