Role
I am Research Fellow and an Associate Tutor at SPRU (Science and Technology Policy Research).
I recently obtained my DPhil in Science and Technology Policy from SPRU. I also have a degree in Economics at Bocconi University, Milan, and a MSc in Innovation and Industry analysis at SPRU. My DPhil thesis is about the adoption and diffusion of innovations in the context of consumer products.
My research interest include the adoption and diffusion of innovations, user-driven innovation, patent analysis, entrepreneurship, and industry-university linkages.
In the past, I worked on a number of research project at KITeS (Knowledge, Internationalization and Technology Studies - Bocconi University, Milan), INGENIO (Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Management - CSIC-UPV, Valencia), and SPRU. I am currently working on a project on innovation, entrepreneurship and growth in the Brighton digital and creative cluster (www.brightonfuse.com), financed by the ARts & Humanities Research Council.
