Kantian and post-Kantian European Philosophy; Phenomenology; Aesthetics; Philosophy of Literature; Philosophy of Religion

Teaching

This term I am teaching the 3rd year option Language, Truth, and Literature. I am also giving the lectures for the new 1st year core course Reason and Experience. I am convening the Literature and Philosophy MA programme while Katerina Deligiorgi is on leave. I have supervised research on the following topics: Heidegger and psychologism; Heidegger on art and language; Nietzsche's critical treatment of art and science; a comparative study of Hegel and Levinas; the status and use of examples in Kant's moral philosophy; Kant's aesthetics.
