Mr David Curley

David Curley

David is a corporate financier and adviser to public and private sector organisations. He is currently Group Director of Corporate Finance, Treasury and Tax at the BBC. Previously he was an investment banker with UBS, advising FTSE100 companies, private equity funds and governments on mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings in the UK and across Europe. Subsequently he was a senior civil servant with the Shareholder Executive (now UK Government Investments) where he was responsible for a number of relationships between the UK Government and other public bodies, and a board member with public bodies. More recently he advised public sector organisations with KPMG.

He began his career with Price Waterhouse in public sector finance and as a management consultant with Logica. He qualified as an accountant with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy. 

David graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Modern History and from London Business School with an MBA.
