Centre of Excellence
The Sussex Centre for Migration Research is a Centre of Excellence. Our Centres of Excellence are drawing together world-leading experts and innovative approaches, creating a critical mass of knowledge, skills and training – and proving that a challenge is only impossible until it's done.
SCMR events
The Sussex Centre for Migration Research hosts regular events, including an international conference, seminar series, symposia and social events for the SCMR community. Our postgraduates also often organise their own student-led events with SCMR support.
JEMS
The Sussex Centre for Migration Research is home to the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, and SCMR Director, Professor Paul Statham, is the Editor in Chief.
