International Law

The aim of the International Law Research Development Team (RDT) is to provide a REF-focused support network between colleagues within the Law School whose research falls within the area of public international law, broadly defined.

It meets at least once a term to provide a forum for general discussions on research and REF related issues, as well as for colleagues to discuss their work. As the RDT is REF-focused, more general presentations on colleagues' work should be hosted by the International Law Research Cluster (contact c.m.henderson@sussex.ac.uk).

The RDT also provides feedback on colleagues' work that is at an advanced stage prior to submission, in particular draft articles and book chapters, as well as providing comments on monograph and research funding proposals. Comments and suggestions will be provided in light of the REF criteria, and a provisional REF score can be provided if requested. These should be sent to the RDT Lead (c.m.henderson@sussex.ac.uk) and the RDT Deputy Lead (e.j.Guntrip@sussex.ac.uk).
