Lead: Femi Amao

Deputy Lead: Ahmed Ghouri (Pablo Iglesias-Rodriguez on research leave)

The Commercial, Private Law & Regulation RDT is designed to support research in a flexible manner with the aim of improving the overall quality of research. It involves teamwork to support and encourage each other in the pursuit of research excellence. Some key points to note:

1.     Prioritise the reading of work in progress (WIP) to aid quality of out-put.

Members of the team are encouraged to send abstract of work in progress to the team and arrangements shall be made to get two members of the team (or experts outside of the team) to read the work and provide some feedback. The abstract could be sent to members of the team to seek volunteer readers directly. Please notify the Team lead and/or Deputy if this is the route taken. Alternatively, the abstract could be sent to the Team lead & Deputy, who shall approach suitable readers for the work.

2.     The existing 14 days turnaround time is maintained to complete the review subject to mutually agreed variations.

3.     Assigning ratings to WIP is optional. Authors may choose not to have their work rated by the readers.

4.     A meeting to review progress and exchange ideas on issues such as coping strategy, REF criteria etc. is organised termly. Information on the next meeting will be provided shortly.
