Tony’s Chocolonely, a sustainable chocolate company committed to the protection of human rights in the industry, is coming to the University of Sussex on Tuesday 14 March as part of Fairtrade Fortnight.
They will hold an educational and insightful talk on how modern slavery is still extremely prominent on the cocoa farms in West Africa, what they are doing as a company to end human rights abuses in the industry, and what we can do to help.
Book now to join us at the Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts, where we’ll be taking over the café from 11.00am for a 20-minute talk, followed by a Q&A for any inquisitive minds, and a chocolate tasting of Tony’s Chocolonely’s chocolates.
