Opening hours
The Library Service Desk is staffed 9am-7pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-5pm at weekends. Hours vary during assessment and vacation periods.

The Library’s accessible entrance
There are steps at the main entrance to the Library, which may be unsuitable for some users. A step-free entrance is located at the north end of the building - follow the signs to IDS. There is an accessible route from Library Sqaure to the North Door – please see the map below.
The Library’s accessible north door is located off of Library Road next to the Institute for Development Studies Café.

Route from Library steps to accessible entrance
To reach the Library’s accessible north door from Library Square, take the path towards Arts A and the lift to the first floor. Take a left to Library Road and find the north door next to the IDS building.
