Biography

  • BEd. Modern Foreign Languages (French and German), Northumbria 1995.
  • MA Contemporary French Studies, Sheffield 1997.
  • After a nine-year period of residence in France during the 1980s I returned to the UK and qualified as a teacher.
  • I taught French and German in secondary schools between 1994 to 1997.
  • I taught French and coordinated Modern Language programmes in Further Education from 1997 to 2007.
  • I have been teaching French in HE since 2007.
  • I now also manage Language Elective and Minor Pathways across a portfolio of eight Languages at Sussex.
