Biography

Morgan received his BA (Hons) in Philosophy from the University of Southampton, followed (some time later) by an MA in International Politics at Newcastle University and an MSc in Social Research Methods at Sussex.

His current research, funded by the ESRC, explores discourses and practices of 'civil society' in Tunisia after the 2011 revolution, focussing on civil soicety as a site of international democracy promotion. As part of his research, Morgan spent 10 months in Tunisia conducting interviews with various international NGOs, local activists and EU delegates.
