Postgraduate study

Informatics at Sussex is a leading centre for the study of computer science and interdisciplinary applications of computing. We are proud to have a thriving, well-resourced postgraduate community from a wide variety of countries and backgrounds.

We offer a range of taught postgraduate degrees leading to an MSc or a Postgraduate Certificate. MScs can be studied full time or part time. All are taught by academics with leading expertise in the relevant area.

We provide an intellectually stimulating environment, with courses that reflect our interdisciplinary approach to teaching.

We welcome applications from well-qualified graduates wishing to study for a PhD or an MPhil. Research areas include computer science, artificial intelligence, bio-inspired computing, cognitive science, digital media technologies, and human-computer interaction. For more information, see:
