Pensions auto-enrolment – new legislation affecting employees
The government now requires employers to enrol their workers into a workplace pension scheme. This is known as auto-enrolment.
Pay award of 1.0% in December salaries
At Sussex, the 2012-13 national pay award of 1% will be made in December 2012 salaries and will be backdated to 1 August 2012.
