Julian currently serves as:

  • Editor of the journal Permafrost and Periglacial Processes
  • UK representative on the Council of the International Permafrost Association
  • Member of Steering Group & Working Party, Periglacial & Glacial Engineering Geology of the Engineering Group of the Geological Society
