Creative Technology

The Creative Technology research group has successfully engaged in many international and national funded projects in collaboration with partners across Europe and the UK. For more details on these projects, and others, check out projects by research area under the projects tab.

We are researchers, academics and practitioners working together to challenge, reconceive, redefine and reinvent our relationship with technology. Our current explorations are across ageing well, young people and autism, visual impairment, e-government/citizenship, sustainable environment, learning, how we use our senses and social presence. We are supported with facilities that range from dedicated studio space to our new robotics, animatronics and mechatronics lab. We utilize all this to create experiences in both the experimental and real world realms.

We welcome partners, collaborators and sponsors, who want to work with us and contribute to designing for our future selves.
