I did my undergraduate at Aberystwyth University, Wales in Business. In 2013 I completed an MA in Global Political Economy from the School of Global Studies at the University of Sussex. Before taking up my doctoral research I completed an MSc in Social Research Methods which was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and supervised by Dr. Laura Moro┼čanu and Prof. Gerard Delanty.

In my Ph.D. I study everyday life in post-socialist Bulgaria. As part of this I am conducting a six-month field research in Harmanli, a border town in southern Bulgaria. This project is funded by the ESRC and supervised by Prof. Jane Cowan from the Department of Anthropology and Prof. Gerard Delanty from the Department of Sociology.

My research interests include political economic behaviour, Balkans, migration.
