Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS)

The British Government has introduced the Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) from November 2007.

Current students taking postgraduate studies in some science, engineering or technology subjects must obtain an ATAS certificate before applying for an Extension of Stay. Further information on ATAS certificates can be found on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website.
