Student Systems and Records Office

Timetabling

Timetabling at the University of Sussex is undertaken centrally by the Student Systems & Records Office. Data is collected from the departments according to the deadlines set out in the document below which enables us to produce the departmental timetables. In turn we are then able to produce individual student timetables which are made available via Sussex Direct.

NEWS

The teaching methods and student choice for returning students have now been loaded into our timetabling system. T1 teaching methods are now LOCKED any further changes should be communicated to your teaching timetabler.

Due to some schools being unable to provide us with complete teaching methods for T1 by the deadline of 21st April we have had to put back the T1 teaching methods deadline for two weeks until 5th May.  We will attempt to catch up however at the moment this means we will have to push back the date of timetable publication to 3rd July.

The deadline for changes to the Autumn 2017 timetable has now PASSED.  Thank you to everyone who has helped us to produce the timetable.

The data upload for T1 into CMS in order to create teaching groups has now occurred.  We have also assigned returning students to teaching groups where applicable.

T2 & T2 teaching methods are now LOCKED and T2 methods loaded into our system. Any further T2 changes should be communicated to your teaching timetabler
