This page includes links to resources that have been developed to help students with maths at university. These resources include paper based materials, videos and interactive resources. You can use any of these for free to help you practise your skills in mathematics.

External on-line maths resources:

MathcentreThe UK resource site for help with maths. Gives you the opportunity to study important areas of pre-university mathematics, which you may have studied before or may be new to you - the maths you know you will need for your course. 
HELM
This site contains a wide range of short videos that link in with the HELM Booklets. Although aimed at Engineers the material is still relevant and useful for non-engineers.
Mathematics Hyper-Tutorials
A database of PDF files. The functionality is similar to the Interactive Mathematics database but more advanced calculus topics are covered.
Learnhigher Work booklets

These work booklets have been developed by LearnHigher CETL and used at Brunel University. The booklets follow a similar format: you firstly look over some theory and then there are some examples to go through. Each subsection ends with some practice questions to ensure that you have understood the theory and can apply it. Full solutions to all questions are provided at the end of each booklet:
