MLA style : introduction

The MLA style is a simpler referencing style than others. Generally, a reference in your work requires only the name of the author and the page. This is then linked to another alphabetical list of the references used (a bibliography) at the end of the essay.

Here is a sample bibliog raphy. Do you know which type of information each reference is (e.g. a book or journal article)? Move your mouse over each reference to see if you were right.
