Outlook is not notifying me of new emails on my Windows 10 staff PC. How do I fix this?

A fault in the version of Windows 10 that is being installed on staff PCs means that Outlook may not notify you when you receive new emails.

To fix this, please do the following:

  1. Close Outlook
  2. Press Start and type software.  Look for the Software Center in the results and click it to run.
  3. In the list of available software, find Windows 10 – Outlook 2016 Notification Fix – Outlook Toast Fix.
    Install this application.  It will run automatically when installed.

When you launch Outlook again, you will begin receiving notifications.
