Can I set a different signature text for each account I use in Outlook?

If you are using two accounts within Outlook you can set Outlook up so that a different Signature text is used with each email account.

Stop the default signature being used all the time

  1. From the File menu, select Options, then Mail
  2. Scroll down to the Send Messages area
  3. Remove the tick from Always use the default account when composing new messages


Use Multiple Signatures

  1. Carrying on from above scroll back to the top of the Mail options and click on the Signatures button
  2. Using the Signatures screen shown below create the signature/s text for each account and then use the Choose default signature area to set which signature is to be used with which email account.
  3. Click OK to save your changes and OK again to save and exit Options
