Responding to a meeting request in Outlook

When invited to a meeting, you will receive an email request in your Inbox.

In the body of the message will be a snapshot of your calendar with the meeting request.

At the top of the message on the toolbar you can do one of the following:

  • Accept
  • Decline
  • Tentative
  • Propose a New Time

If you click on Accept, Decline or Tentative , we recommend that you choose the option to  'send a response now’ to the organiser.   If you don't do this, the organiser will not know whether or not you will be attending the meeting.
