How can I connect to Exchange (the staff/researcher email and calendaring system) with Outlook?

If you are already using a private account with Outlook

If you already have an account set up in Outlook, for example your external private email, you can also simply add the Sussex account to your existing profile as follows:
  1. In Outlook, click on File and then in the Info tab, click the Add Account button.
  2. Enter your name, Sussex e-mail address and password, then click Next.
  3. Click Finish.
  4. Restart Outlook.
  5. In the Windows security box that pops up, delete your email address from the User name field and enter ad_us\ followed by your Sussex username (e.g. ad_us\ano23), then your password, then click OK.
  6. Outlook will complete the logon and your Sussex account will now be added.
