New ways of working

See our guidance on returning to work on campus, looking after yourself and supporting colleagues.

The past year has shown a large number of roles can effectively be performed remotely, and that there are benefits in retaining levels of flexibility in the future.

We’re introducing a Remote Working Framework to promote hybrid working practices at Sussex where possible, which we wish to establish as we start our return to campus as Government lockdown restrictions start to ease.

A variety of guidance is available to support teams and managers in:

  • working through this stage of the pandemic, as we start to move back towards ‘business as usual’
  • introducing new, post-lockdown, longer term ways of working.
