The winter Graduation ceremony is normally in the last week of January.  If you have passed your degree, details will be sent to you by post. Please check that your contact details are correct and update them on Sussex Direct if need be.

We would suggest that, in addition to looking through the events that the School website advertises, you check out those offered by the University Careers and Employability Centre (CEC). Here are some highlights of topics especially likely to interest you at this stage:

How the Careers and Employability Centre can help you
Career Exploration for Masters Students
CVs and Application Forms
Interview Skills
Looking for part time work
Jobhunting for International students
Getting Relevant Work Experience and Internships
How to make employers want you to join their company
Applying for a PhD or DPhil

Postgraduate Masters students at Sussex are offered a range of support with their career development including workshops, events and consultations held throughout the year.

Student reps ensure that student concerns, views and opinions are heard and acted upon by the University and the Students Union.

By consulting students about their teaching and learning experience and taking these views to the University, student reps ensure that good things get emulated in other courses/departments/schools and the bad things get changed.

More information on the rep scheme and how to become a student rep can be found on our 'Student rep' pages.
