Timetabling
Timetabling at the University of Sussex is undertaken centrally by the Division of Student Experience in collaboration with Faculties. Individual student timetables are produced and made available via Sussex Direct.

The Online Room Booking System (ORBS) is open for Semester 1 until Friday 11 December 2026.

The deadline for staff unavailability data to be provided to timetabling for the 26-27 timetabling cycle is 20th March 2026. Faculties will provide staff unavailability data to the timetabling team in accordance with relevant guidance and the Timetabling Framework. Queries about the staff unavailability process should be raised, in the first instance, with your Senior Education Manager.
