Four non-academic staff among winners of Student-Led Teaching Awards
Four Professional Services staff are among the 34 winners of the Student-Led Teaching Awards for 2015-2016.
Each year Sussex students are invited to say thank you to a member of staff who has made a difference to their teaching and learning experience by nominating them for an award.
And a very positive development this year is the significant increase in the number of awards for non-academic staff, with awards going to Kevin Brady, Oonagh Caunter, Lynn O’ Meara and Tim Redmond.
All 120 nominations were submitted by students, and the panels who agreed the awards were made up of Students’ Union officers and student representatives from relevant Schools.
The annual awards are a partnership between the Students’ Union and the University of Sussex.
All 34 winners are invited to the Annual Teaching and Learning Conference – to be held this year on Wednesday 20 April - to be presented with their award.
