The sections below contain quick links to commonly used forms.

STAFF: all claims from Sussex staff must be made through the Finance system. Refer to the guidance notes, training and download links on the Finance Division expenses webpages.

STUDENTS AND VISITORS: to claim, students and visitors should submit a hard or digital copy of the Expense Claim Form.

For credit card orders, complete the credit card authorisation form [DOC 25.50KB] and take it to stores.

All overseas travel on University business must be insured through the University – as well as UK travel which includes an overnight stay. Staff and research students should follow the travel insurance guidance and apply online via the 'Admin' tab in Sussex Direct.

The application process requires completion of the University Overseas Travel Safety and Security Risk Assessment (OTSSRA).

Casual employment claim forms can be downloaded from the Human Resources payroll and pensions documents and forms web page.

Before any casual or temporary work commences, the employee must provide evidence of their right to work. Please refer to the Human Resources right to work in UK guidance and forms.

Undergraduate and Masters coursework submitted in hardcopy must be attached to a Coursework Submission Cover Sheet.

Undergraduate and Masters coursework submitted electronically must include a Coursework Declaration.
