One-to-one appointment

Book an Entrepreneurship Exploration appointment with a member of our team. This will help us to understand what you need to move forward. In a one-to-one you can:

  • Discuss ideas, plan next steps and learn how to develop a business
  • Get specialist advice on everything from funding and finance to marketing and intellectual property protection
  • Access mentors and experienced founders who can help you grow
  • Receive coaching and feedback to keep you on target and on point
  • Learn about other opportunities available through the university network

Events and workshops

You will find a full programme of events throughout the year, both online and on-campus.

  • Startup Lab, our flagship business startup course, will guide you through from idea to launch
  • Events include specialist workshops and meetups for freelancers, social entrepreneurs and female entrepreneurs.

All students and recent graduates are welcome, whether you are already trading or simply want to explore, network and develop your skills.

Competitions and funding

If you are at the idea stage, the Startup Sussex competition is a chance to win a package of support to get your new business started. Exclusive to Sussex students and recent graduates, it includes the Social Impact Prize, a special award for purpose-led enterprises.
