Applying for a student visa

If you are an international student, you may need to apply for a student visa to study in the UK.

If you’re a European national

If you are a European Economic Area (EEA) or Swiss national and you have been accepted on to a course which starts before 31 December 2020, you don’t need to apply for a visa from your home country to study in the UK.

The immigration requirements for studying in the UK after 31 December 2020 are not yet known.
