Drama Studio

Drama performance in the studio in Silverstone

The Silverstone Drama Studio is located on the first floor of the Silverstone Building, room SB-125. It is a flexible black box studio space that is suitable for workshops, seminars, rehearsals and full-scale productions.

It has a control room for operating lights and sound, which includes a DiGiCo S21 Digital Mixing Console, a Zero88 Jester 12/24 lighting desk, and a Mac Mini M1 computer connected to a Dell 27" screen.

There is a Lighting Cupboard next to the control room where the lights are stored and where the dimmer packs are located.

Connected to the main studio space, there is a Green Room with a set of 4 lockers, two room dividers to create privacy for changing, and several mirrors. There is also some items stored in the Green Room for use in the main studio space. 

Adjacent to the Studio are a Costume Cupboard and a Prop Room with a wide variety of items. The keys to these rooms are bookable on SiSo. 

The studio has a high quality stereo sound system, a high quality projector and projector screen, and an efficient lighting rig which may be used by individuals who have undergone technical training. 

Bookings for the Silverstone Drama Studio are made via SISO and bookings are restricted to one 3 hour booking every 24 hours.
