Join the Sex Diss Film Club screening of Bottoms (2023), directed by Emma Seligman, for our April Fools session. We will meet in Silverstone 309 at 4pm on 1st April. 

Bottoms centres around two lesbian virgins and consequently losers, high school seniors PJ and Josie who have crushes on popular cheerleaders. They start a fight club to meet girls and finally lose their virginity. This black sex comedy  stars Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edibiri as the protagonists, and addresses the heteronormative politics of high school with campy comedic underpinnings. 

The film will be preceded by a short introduction by Chris Frantz, Doctoral Researcher in Film Studies and organiser of the Sex Diss Film Club. 

We will head to IDS for drinks and discussions following the screening.
