Pedal Point@the Travel Hub provides information and discounts on commuting via public transport, cycling, and car sharing, and sells refurbished bikes and cycling accessories.

Pedal Point@the Travel Hub is located in the Arches, next to the Student Centre.
We are open from Tuesday to Friday from 12 noon to 6.30pm.
Who are we?
We are a non-profit partnership between the following:
- The Students’ Union
- The Bike Shack
- Brighton Bike Hub
- The Sustainability Team.
Visit us to:
- buy refurbished bikes
- get your bike fixed by a mechanic
- learn maintenance skills
- get involved with our volunteering opportunities
- learn about travel discounts
- buy bike accessories.
Commuting support
We have bus and train maps and timetables, as well as information about the discounts available to help you plan your sustainable commute to campus via public transport. We can also advise you about car sharing opportunities.
Cycling support
If you already have a bike, we can repair it in exchange for a donation.
We also coordinate cycling events and group rides to help you gain confidence on the roads.
No bike experience? No problem. Our volunteer training is open to all levels: just bring your enthusiasm.
Shop for bicycles and cycling accessories
We refurbish pre-loved bikes and sell them affordably. We also stock essential cycling accessories such as helmets, locks, and lights.
