If you need co-funding from the School, alert the Head of School.

Do this as soon as possible, at least four weeks before the deadline.  The HoS will need to see a draft budget.

Complete the Research Contribution application form  [ pdf , doc ].  You should attach supporting statements from the Head of your research group and the Research Strategy Group. 

Need a letter of support?

If you need a letter of support from Head of Department, Head of School, or PVC, you should request it as soon as possible, preferably 4 weeks before the deadline. 

For Head of Department and Head of School please ask them directly and keep the MPS research support team in copy (mpsresearchsupport@sussex.ac.uk)

For PVC letters, check with the Research Development Team (research_support@sussex.ac.uk) first.
