Updating generic text

You may not have access to this menu option. If not, don't worry about it! The majority of people will not see this option.
Updating the generic welcome text is very similar to updating course information. However, in this instance you do not have the step of selecting a course first. Simply select the 'Generic text' option, update the information and save. The text will then be shown on all joint-award course pages (once the cache has refreshed).
