School of Global Studies

Student mentors

Student Mentors are postgraduate students who have been trained to provide support to other students in their school.

The Student Mentors will be holding drop-in sessions in the student social space on the top floor of Arts C. They will also be running focused workshops throughout the year. Details about drop-in sessions and workshops will be provided on the Beyond Your Degree Canvas site. Please check regularly so you don't miss any activities. The drop-in sessions and workshops will also be on your timetable. This is for reference only, Student Mentor sessions are not mandatory.

The Student Mentor Newsletter will also be sent out weekly during term time with information about upcoming activities. Please check your Sussex email account regularly.

Student Mentors can help with a range of academic issues and study skills including:

  • learning how to reference,
