Technology Enhanced Learning at Sussex

Who we are and what we do

Those involved in e-learning work together closely to ensure that technologies at Sussex support the University's teaching and learning strategy and the staff and students using them.

IT Services develops and supports the infrastructure and software to create an effective e-learning environment. ITS also provides training for staff using technologies and undertakes user testing to ensure that the needs of practitioners are being met.

The Teaching and Learning Development Unit works with individuals, programme teams and Schools to explore how technologies can add value to teaching and students' learning. We also contribute to strategic e-learning projects at Sussex and help to evaluate emergent technologies.

How we can help

We can offer:

  • 1-1 consultancy sessions
  • bespoke sessions for course teams, programme teams, Departments and Schools
  • sessions at Department and School awaydays
  • drop-in session that allow people to have a go at using technologies
  • a variety of TLDU events and ITS training sessions
