The 24/7 residential reception is located at Bramber House, opposite the Student Centre.

24/7 residential services are available at East Slope and Stanmer Court. All other residents please contact the Bramber House reception at 01273 67 8323 for urgent out-of-hours support.

The Estates team provides general services for living in University-managed accommodation, including cleaning, portering, maintenance, and security.

For general non-urgent issues such as repairs, maintenance, cleaning etc., visit your local reception during the opening hours below and a porter will be available to assist.

Collecting mail and packages

Letters and small packages will be delivered to your mailbox, at your local residential reception. Larger packages and signed-for items will be held at reception, and a delivery note will be left in your mailbox notifying you that your package is ready to collect.

You can collect any packages you have waiting during usual reception opening hours.

Mail for students no longer resident at the University will be returned to the sender if the address is shown on the envelope, or returned to Royal Mail if no address is given.

Housekeeping

Cleaning services are carried out Monday to Friday. Your cleaning day is displayed in your flat’s kitchen or common area.

Our housekeepers only clean student rooms during vacations or for a change of occupant. Residents are responsible for keeping their rooms clean and tidy.

En-suite facilities in residences are cleaned once per month, for which students will be given at least 24 hours notice.

Communal areas including kitchen areas, washrooms, TV rooms, foyers and hallways are cleaned once per week.

Emergencies

If you have an urgent problem when out-of-hours, visit our 24/7 reception in Bramber House or call 01273 67 8323 for out-of-hours support. East Slope and Stanmer Court residents can visit their 24/7 receptions directly.

Contacts and receptions

All residential issues (e.g. maintenance and repair) need to be taken to your porter/reception in the first instance. Repairs and maintenance will be carried out in line with our escalation process.

Residential receptions are open during the following hours. Only emergency requests will be dealt with outside of these hours.

Residential Addresses and Postcodes

When sending mail to campus residents, you must preface with the recipients' full name, and their specific flat/building and room number to help us quickly store your package for collection. Please ensure that the specific campus address is included, especially when autofilling on websites such as Amazon using the relevant postcode.
