Win tickets to The Coast is Queer Festival

The University of Sussex’s Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts is hosting this year’s The Coast is Queer Festival - Brighton & Hove’s annual festival of LGBTQ+ writing from 15-18 October 2026.
The festival will include four days of lively conversations, panels, workshops, performances and films celebrating some of the best and brightest LGBTQ+ writers, including Shon Faye, Susan Stryker, Thomas Glave, Sarah Waters, Julia Armfield, Kirsty Logan, Juno Dawson, Patrick Gale and many more.
We are offering the following prizes to Sussex students:
- Grand prize: 2 x festival passes
- Runners up: 10 x Friday day passes - this year's Friday line up features University of Sussex Student Curators. You can find out more here.
How to enter the competition
To be in with a chance of winning one of the above prizes, all you need to do is enter your University of Sussex email address via the following form:
The deadline for entering is Tuesday 13 October at 11:59pm. Winners will be contacted by email with details of their prize the following day.
