Not sure where to start with your research? Overwhelmed by too many results, or not finding enough? In this practical workshop, you’ll learn how to search smarter using Library Search and other research tools.

We’ll show you how to locate high-quality, relevant academic material quickly and effectively, saving you time and helping you to build a strong evidence base for your work.

By the end of this session you will:

• Understand the key features and functions of Library Search and other academic research tools.
• Create effective searches to locate high-quality, relevant academic sources.
• Develop strategies for effectively organising and storing results.

If you are unable to attend the workshop this term, we've created an online version of the session.
