Biography

Dr James Stockman is a critical digital media theorist and Research Associate at the University Sussex, where he works with Professor David M. Berry on the topic of large language models and critical theory. He is also a CIM Fellow at the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies at the University of Warwick, working on a project titled: Critical AI Sprints: Troubling Society as a Computable Object in Computational Social Science.
