Please note: A Sit is an uncapped retake and a Resit is a capped retake
Information and Key Dates about the release of results, and when sits and resits will be scheduled.
Results
Your results are due to be published on Sussex Direct on the following dates, for Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG):
- UG Final year Semester 2 module and Degree Classification results - Wednesday 18 June at 12:00
- UG Progression years Semester 2 Module results published – [Stage 3] Mon 6 July 2026 at 08:00 [Stage 2] Mon 6 July 2026 at 10:00 [Stage 0/1] Mon 6 July 2026 at 12:00
- PG Semester 2 module results - Wed 15 July 2026 at 14:00
- UG A3 (Sits and Resits) results - Thu 10 Sept 2026 at 08:00
- PG A3 (Sits and Resits) results published - Wed 21 Oct 2026 at 14.00
Exam sits and resits
The A3 Assessment Period will take place on and between Monday 10 August - Saturday 22 August 2026.
Please note that TAPs may be set in the early part of the second week. All coursework resits will be due on the first day of the resit period (Monday 10 August).
Details of the date and time of your exam assessment will appear on your Sussex Direct 'Assessment Deadlines & Exam Timetable' pages in late July.
Coursework sits and resits
Dates for submission will appear on your Sussex Direct assessment timetable.
Please check your assessment timetable on Sussex Direct for the correct resit submission point.

Canvas Module Retake Information
These will be available mid-July and the School Office will be in touch as a reminder. If you are trailing a module from the previous year, please contact the School Office if you require further information. Please note that the submission point 'School Office' will not be used, if this is on your timetable, you will be contacted with the correct information.
Submission points for Presentation/media - if you are doing your presentation via Zoom, please contact your project supervisor/module convenor to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for this before 10 August. Note the submission point will appear as ‘Ask Tutor’ on Sussex Direct.
IMPORTANT – It is possible to pass C7162 without taking the 15% Presentation but only if you achieve a mark of at least 48 for the combined LOG and DISSERTATION assignments. If you fail either the LOG or the DISSERTATION and need to resit them for a capped (at 40%) mark you CANNOT pass C7162 if you have not taken the Presentation. This module cannot be condoned or compensated, you need to pass it to get your degree.
