SussexDocFest 2020 Daily Check-Ins and Lockdown Tips
As part of the Festival of Doctoral Research, we held a daily check-in on themed activities that have been helping doctoral researchers throughout the lockdown and general Covid-19 period.
Every morning of the Festival at 9.30am, we published a mini interview on the Doctoral Connections blog and then opened the conversation on Twitter, @SussexDocSchool and #SussexDocFest, to hear what activities have been helping the wider PGR community at Sussex.
We were excited to hear about your lockdown experiences, share tips and build resources, as well as get in gear for the Festival events later in the day!
The themes for each day:
- Monday 15th - Working from home and productivity tips, with Carina Hoerst from the Excursions Journal team
- Tuesday 16th - Games and hobbies, with Abigail Rieley from PhD Game Night
- Wednesday 17th - Exercise and physical activities, with Adam Kreimeia
- Thursday 18th - Media and entertainment, with Aanchal Vij and the Wayback Weekender
- Friday 19th - Creativity at home: arts and crafts, with the MFM Creative Outlets team
