Many of you will know Dr. Schreiber for his introduction, back in 2000, of the highly influential information-theoretic notion of Transfer Entropy, which in the intervening years has gained huge traction in a remarkably diverse range of fields, from the physical and biological sciences, to statistics, econometrics, the social sciences, and beyond. After many years working in industry, Dr. Schreiber returned to the academia. Thank you for truly inspiring talk.
